Water well testing at the frost free in GPM
Well Testing Options
Our state of the art well testing equipment will give you a highly accurate picture of what is going on inside your well.
Output (GPM)
How many gallons of water per minute you can generate is a crucial number for any well. By doing a Pump Flow Test (PFT) we can quantify the exact flow rate in Gallons Per Minute (GPM) that your well and pump combination is capable of producing. This test will allow you to know how much water the well is able to pump.
Whether its for irrigation, laundry or that long hot shower in the morning its always good to know with confidence your well is up to the task at hand.
Water Quality
While we are testing the output of the well we can also collect a water sample to send in for environmental water analysis. This analysis can test for heavy metals, nitrates, coliform and other contaminants you many be concerned with.
Pure water to drink is crucial for our family’s, natural toxins and industrial wastes have polluted a lot of water sheds. By checking your well for basic contaminants allows you to rest easy know your water is pure. If the results to show issues there are many water treatment options out there to help you remove the contaminants.
Pump Health
In addition to testing the overall output of the well in GPM, we can also test some basic parameters of well pumps performance. Decreased performance may be indicators of a failing pump and or other issues with the system.
We all take our pump for granted until the day it doesn’t pump. By testing the pumps health we can see certain failure modes before the pump stops working. This allows you to schedule pump replacement and budget for it ahead of time.
